Anyway, results were surprisingly better than I thought I could ever achieve O_O Xian says it's the first time in years wluek's satisfied with her results. My GPA is of course nothing compared to hers, yet i'm reallyyyy satisfied too! =) Haha. It's a matter of perception la. And I finally managed to pull myself up to a borderline nutcase. Phew!

And i'm so happy with myself that I did not S/U-ed my languages! Yay. Hard work always seem to pay off when it comes to languages, no matter how hard the paper was! Haha. See, ppl? Stop saying i'm mad. Everybody should just start clearing their remaining UEs with languages! Lol. Try Spanish for a start - very manageable! =)

And so with my remaining little major prescribed, I promise to carefully choose next sem to secure my very risky gpa! Hahah. In retrospect though, 2 labs was not a bad choice! Haha. I've found an inner peace (NOT) typing reports than regurgitating textbooks! No, equally not fun. *makes a face*

The Magical Kiss!

Today I was in the midst of an observation, and the little boy gave me 2 noisy kisses on the cheek! =D wahahaha. he is damn funny! totally stunned me. lol. But still, it was nice!! =P

There's this thing about getting hugged or kissed by little kids that always considerably brightens up my day =) Haha. I'm not paedophillic ok. I just think kids are lovely and adorable.

Alas, happiness is short-lived and gives way to the jitters! Wluek wluek's nerves finally rubbed off on me. At least once a day, since days ago, she'll tell me how many days it is away from release of exams results. Haha. She is super kua zhang. And today she randomly went:

Anyways, I met the whole world yesterday! Saw Erly after PFO meeting and we totally screamed in the middle of the shopping centre (and in front of my committee members) =X Eh excited ma, think almost 2 years never see her liao. Hehe. So happy! =D Then when I reached Pasir Ris, saw Cao Bei & Win!! ^^ Hahaha was just lamenting on how we always don't get to see each other during gatherings, then saw them right at Pasir Ris!!! =D Happy happY! Her tummy is becoming bigger and she looks very pretty in maternity wear!! ^^ I want to get nice nice maternity wear too next time! =X

Hahaha. Which reminds me, every ABCDEFG at work is either engaged or expecting! o_O Hahaha. Although it's very exciting to hear that, it's very amazing when suddenly all the people around you are like that! Hahaha. Bearbear says "we're at the age where we need to start noticing ppl's fingers liao" Hah. Anyway, babies are reallyyy adorable though! =)

BUSY.

again!!

I'm so busy although theoretically speaking, interns ought to be very free once they step out of the work place! But I have to study french (urrgh fail), settle GP issues (yay!), settle orientation issues (bah!) and goodness-knows-what-else.

I've been so busy that my french test, now less than 1 week away only, is super neglected! I haven't been studying proper! And even when I do the papers, they are all damn hard and I take damn long!! x_x everything looks like never learn before! O_O And i've been so busy and tired from work and GP matters that once I step into the trains and buses, or even when I reach home, I just conk out straightaway, which means even lesser time left!

Argh!!!
I don't know what possessed me to register for the exam man!! O_O

Hahah. Anyway, we celebrated Stephie & Jiaying's belated and be-early birthdays respectively! Yay. Happy birthday girls! :) We had dinner at Lucky Plaza Pizza Hut which was super ulu and service not very good. It'll be good to work there though, coz it's ulu nobody goes there to eat and the staff all look super free. Hahah. It's rather empty too, so a good place to go sit there very long n chat! =) Hahahaa. Anyway, it's nice to meet up with everyone again even though most of us are at our interns or working in the respective places. And yea, most of us just looked oddly formal.. Hahaha. Not the typical outing attire~ Lol. Ahhh. It was a fun night of chatter and laughter and I was just happy to see everyone (almost everyone) again =) Yay!

Chronic self-mutilation

As it seems, everyone around me has a chronic habit of self-mutilation. There's the chronically stressed, the chronically anxious, the chronically paranoid, chronically i-want-good-grades.

I think i'm most less self-mutilating though. I'm simply chronically busy and chronically manic!

I love my intern!

I think i'm learning alot everyday! =)

Not like i'm given some majorly important thing to do or what lah. Most of the time I do lots of clinical admin, and I just started sitting into sessions more this week. And it's really very eye-opening! I really learnt many many things that could never be learnt in the textbooks! Clinical work is really so different compared to the textbooks and the research! =) Although i don't deny, and all the more recognise the importance of knowing your textbook facts well too! Even if I don't sit in, I gain more knowledge just by talking to more professionals! =) And no denying I do lots of random stuff like bulletin boards and stuff. But many little things like these actually increases my understanding of how things work in a clinic! Haha. Optimistic hor. =P

Yay! They should have done this earlier! Then I would have felt more enthu about my textbooks. Hahaha. Fakeeeeeeeeeee. I would just be as lazy even if I knew all this earlier. It's just me to fall asleep at the sight of textbooks. HAH!

PLUS. Macbooks major piss me off!! I have to bring my stuff to the macbook to get them printed out. And all my nice nice fonts turn ugly coz the macbook don't have that font!! -_-''' And it doesn't help that I bring my stuff 5 stories down to get them printed, and end up standing in front of the damn Macbook editing all my fonts. Grrrrrrrr!

Intern!

My internship finally started yesterday. If you still don't know, it's at a developmental/paediatric clinic lah.
Common question: "What are you supposed to do there??"
Typical reply: "I don't know lah. Don't ask me"

Haha. Actually i'm just lazy to explain. Plus I wasn't exactly given a clear idea as well. Anyway, I don't really want to elaborate either coz of confidentiality issues, coz I tend to get excited and don't draw the line properly across what to or not to reveal. Hah. You know me lah. Can get quite excited when I start talking.

Anyways, it's been quite okay so far other than being very hectic. I haven't been knocking off on time, and I can't wait for J&B to faster come in have lunch together with me! Hahaha. But so far I still have nothing against what I've been doing for the past 2 days other than having to wear a mask =X Bah! And be warned that i've been doing nothing glamorous, but am contented with it coz I kind of believe all these menial stuff needs to be done first to understand the full operations of the clinic. Besides, I think i've learnt alot more in the past 2 days than the past 2 months! =X Hah. I think I know the EXACT reason why. But I shall save it for gossip, not here.

It's a really interesting experience! I think my biggest takeaway today would be how parents make a hell LOT of difference. Yes.
Moral of the story: Don't have a kid if you're not ready.

And you know what the different therapists are like after awhile. Hmmmm!

Ha. I'm typing very carefully and missing out a lot of details. Oh well! I'm glad I went on this eye-opening intern! =)

Stepping into a new nothing! Nothing but shopping.

Ahhhhhh. I'm officially starting my internship tmr! Yet i'm not exactly nervous and excited as the average intern probably coz we've been into there before le ba. Though what we'll be doing for this official period will probably be different from before lah. And I still feel abit dots about certain things that leave me feeling puzzled about what I ought to be doing tmr.. BAH! It's the thing about being the first to go in, like not knowing what to expect. Sigh.

Anyway, I've burned an uber hole in the pocket before I even started work lah. She cheerily replied me "pants and collared blouse. jeans on fri/sat only. no need to buy clothes!". Never did she know the harmless sms she shoot out harmed my purse strings in a huge way ok. Sigh. I can only console myself that it's a worthy investment for future work in a year's time! oh Yay! =]

Haha. Anyways, my dearie mabbie and I broke our own record again today - we spent more than 5 hours shopping in Tampines! =O Tampines always seem like a can't-finish-shopping-there place whenever I shop with her leh. Hahaha. When we're in a hurry, we can't finish looking through the shops. When we're not in a hurry, we can walk and re-browse the shops more than once o_O hahaha. Something is seriously very wrong with us man.

And I realised from my blog-surfing that the whole world is crazy about Uniqlo! O_O I have no idea why!! I think it's too crowded and messy!! I have walked past it 3 or 4 times and each time it looks so scarily crowded like it's having some crazy sale that I just hate staying inside the shop! =X Hahaha. Mabbie says the crowd will clear in awhile, but it's always crowded when I pass by! Hahaha. Okay, i'll give it a chance and visit it again when the crazy crowd at t1 starts dying down. Hah! =P

Sheeeeeeeesh! I need to start studying for my French soon too! Ahaaa. And there are things waiting to be confirmed and done. And things to fret over. And friends to meet up with of coz! =) =)

Everything feels scarily normal; like nothing ever happened. Hmmm. Perhaps it's a good way to finish up the last lap, as normal as it can be. Well, at least everything seemed good, and well, happy.

Yay! Deardear's birthday was great! (i think) hahaa. But we decided that we're out of the take-photo-for-everything phase. hahahaa. so yeap, no photos this year. Got anything just play, anything just eat. Wheeee! =)

We celebrated it earlier this year on 30th April, starting with Cream of Mushroom (yes, again, don't yawn, my dear like can liao hah!) at my house, movie (Taken. SUPER SUPER 5 STAR GOOD!!!!!!) at Vivo, and FINALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY Kuishinbo at Suntec. Hahaha yes, we finally went to Kuishinbo after talking about Lady's Night for one whole sem. And when we finally went, it wasn't even Lady's Night -_-''' hahahah! Yay. We had super good seats! So kept going over to snatch dessert when the bell rang. Lol! Had uber lots of fun with lovely! =D

Couldn't celebrate the 2nd part of it with lovely this year. Was quite sad about it.. but oh well, i'm glad you loved the surprise! =) =) =D

My lovely is 26 years old! And we are 5 years apart now! =O Hahaha until September =p Lalalala~ I have a lovely lovely who gets lovelier by the day! Because LOVELY AGE WITH GRACE. muahahahahaa~ =D

Anyway, i've been too busy to pronounce the end of my love-hate-hate relationship with stats! =D Felt so relieved that there were people like jul and my lovely to end it on a slightly better note with me! Especially lovely! So stunned sia! For the first time, he can actually teach me how to do my work! =O Hahahaa. Coz he was the one who got tortured earlier on by doing one whole module on what I was supposed to do for half an assignment. *stunned* I finally understand the torment he went through spending hours in the lab until 4am to do his project. I felt equally tormented lah! *urgh* And it's erm kind of weird to know that his project basically requires him to do/enhance a software/program to let people like us do our statistical analyses. Haahhaa. Like he got tormented learning how to torment us. =X

Ahhh well. Down with clusters and dendrograms! They're all OVER AND OUTTTTTTTTTT!!! ^^
