Just a random rant about Bobo's post about love and somebody's reply about it.
Post was about greek myth describing humans as constantly on the search for their other half, and how Bobo thinks we may not necessarily meet our other half in our lifetime. Reply was "I suppose that since there are so many people out there, that there are potentially many good fits for one person." Bobo says "i kinda think it is like a jigsaw puzzle. there is only one right piece."
So, being the fellow-Bobo, i have to agree with Bobo! Aha.
Quantity doesn't mean Quality. Many people doesn't mean a higher chance of finding many others who'll fit into your life nicely! If that is the case, perhaps that is the reason why the rapid rate of decreasing marriages equates to the soaring rate of divorces. So people apparently realise they don't want to get married, coz they can't be sure that is their perfect fit, and they want to get a taste of every other nice fit. Then there's the people who realise maybe it's the wrong fit, and there could be a better fit out there.
Jigsaw puzzle analogy is perhaps the most apt way of describing love. There can be 10 pieces of puzzle, or there may be 10000 pieces of the puzzle; but the more pieces there are, the harder it is to complete your jigsaw. Coz you have to search among the many pieces. Perhaps in your pursuit, you try to force the wrong 2 pieces of jigsaw together, but they just don't fit perfectly, and the gap between them stubbornly refuses to close. It's then you realise it's wrong, and you give up, and continue your search for the right fit. Some may be lucky, fitting the right pieces together after one or two tries; some bingo on their first attempt; some may never get it right until they finally fit the 1st and 10000th piece together; some simply find it too tedious after awhile and give up halfway through.
Perhaps that is why they say Love is patient!
Hmmmm.
I don't have any secret recipe or shortcut to fit the pieces together in the shortest time possible. But if you've found your piece, glue it properly, and don't let it come off! You really wouldn't want to find it missing, call the puzzle shop for a replacement, and find it out of stock already! If you're still trying hard to put the pieces together, look before you fit and don't rush. You don't want to spoil your own piece of puzzle before you even find the fit! Maybe you will realise, the harder you srcutinize, the more you can't find your fit. That's coz your eyes have been on the lookout for too long, and censored too many pieces. Take a break, wait for others to toss out the wrong pieces, and the right one may just land before you! =)
Yes, enough crap. I'll go glue my own piece, then go on to do my mountain pile of work! =)

21) I've been thinking recently that I want and I need a watch after all these years of doing without one.

This new year, i wish for better time management, to be a better gf, to be a better family member, to manage my finances better, to manage crises better, to manage homework better, a more balanced life, to be more disciplined, more time for play, a more loving family, acceptance, a less braty tutee, more pretty clothes, and more collared clothes for intern. -_-'''
Ahaa. I think i'm lacking a great deal of management in my life! =X And i do realise i wish for a great deal of ideal and superficial things. Unfortunately, ideal = too good to be true, superficial = unnecessary. Hmmmm!
But it's alright, at least i have goals to look toward. Nvm if they are silly stuff. Helps to cheer me up at least. Hah!
And i don't know why people assume i'm going to Malaysia for the new year! Hahaha. Maybe i've been there too many CNYs, so people naturally assume i go every year. Ah well. I'm staying put in Sg this year, coz of the too-short hols. It's no doubt more 'leng qing' here, but i'm still with my family and that's totally fine with me. Plus i get to do anything i want to do! (mostly, ha.)
STEAMBOATTTTTTTTTTTTT!!! Yes, that's the main highlight! Yea, somehow they don't like to eat steamboat at my grandma's house in malaysia coz nobody fancies preparing steamboat for at least like 20+, 30+ people. So we always have normal food, just that more 'da yu da rou'. Yes, so i get very excited whenever i get to eat steamboat in Sg. =D Hahahaa! Machiam never eat steamboat before like that.
Ahhhhhhhhh. It's been some years since my last CNY in Sg. Wonder what it'll be like this year! =)

CNY is near! Not-so-long holidays are here! But i have a million one things to do which are too boring to get myself down to doing it! =X
And it's not a good time to get fat! =X uh oh. Hahahaha.
I wish i could safely say i've had my lion's share of enough fattening cookies and such. But on second thoughts i don't think i've eaten enough =X Hahahahaa
It's boringggggggggggggggggg. Bwah! Do not like tuitioning little brats. No, not all my tutees are brats. But if you know, you'll know who i'm talking about.
Yes, i'm being random again. *yawnssss*
I'm bored!! And lazily tired. Though i haven't really done much today.

I helped deardear select his cny clothes!! Wheeeeeeeeee! Hahaa ya totally random. Just that it was fun ma. My dear looks uber shuai now! Yayyy! =D Ok, actually he has always looked shuai~ Hahahaha! Nvm~ I am sounding random again. Lalalaa~

yo quiero francés! j'aime espagnol! =)
Okay, i haven't learn any decent spanish grammar, so pardon me if i'm wrong. Haha!
Languages are a great deal of fun! Spanish class is very very nice! =) Haha. And I secretly think (i don't want the whole world to know! Haha!) that the lessons are more well structured than French! But then, again, can't really compare coz they are different languages, and might require different styles of teaching! =)
I still love French all the same! Especially now we're FINALLY learning more useful stuff. *phew!* I can finally shop in France after May! Hahahaa. Dots. As if i'm rich. *shrugs* =P M is very nice this sem! I don't know why she is so starkingly different from the last time I took her class. Hahah. And it's very very great that i'm coincidentally having lessons together with Charlene! =) At least we can comfortably whine to each other when others start to sound cheem =X hahaha! Yay~ Level 3 is definitely more fun than 2! Regardless of company-wise or content-wise =)
Spanish is cool too! Although we're only through with What's your name and Alphabets. Hahaha. My spanish teacher praised me! Lol. She said I very good at rolling my tongue to the RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR sound! Wahahaha. Damn paiseh la! She keep asking me "How do you do that!? What languages do you speak? No, chinese and english doesn't have that sound!" yada yada. And she keep asking me to share with the class how i roll my tongue! -_-''' DOTS. How am i supposed to share that!? And i can't possibly tell the whole class i am pro at that coz i have nothing better to do when i was small and started practicing how to roll my tongue. . . . . =X

Core mods are still pretty much the same as before, i guess. I've taken all 3 profs' modules before, so know what to expect and stuff. Rin's mod is expectedly more cheem than before! *faints* And i'm still perpetually sleepy during his lessons =X Reb's lesson is very useful as usual~ Haha. As in she teaches in a way that makes you think it's useful. Lol. F is entertaining as usual, though whether it's useful or not, i'm still quite doubtful~ Haha =X I think i should read more of the textbooks! Bleah! =X
Anyway, today was a very happy day! =D But i shall not announce first until it's finalized, or else very *touchwood* de! Hahaha super pantang~ But should be 90% confirm happy liao~ Wheeeee! =) And i really hope they come toooooooooo! *prays hard hard!* =]

All my favourite psych profs this sem!
Today's lessons were boring though. Fall asleep during a supposedly very interesting lesson. Hahaa coz he was super long winded as usual!
Stats was a little dry too, but i think it'll get better after the foundations are cleared =)
Now i know wednesday might possibly be my longest and most boring day! =X
I finally settled for french level 3 and spanish level 1.
I look at the spanish textbook i think i'm gonna die!
I look at all my course outlines and i wonder how i'm gonna survive this semester.
I am officially in panic mood with regards to internship! I think it's time i start spamming. Haha.
Happy belated birthday, meimei! =) Although Prima Deli thinks you look like 27, you'll still be our meimei forever! Hahaha! Upload your photos when i'm free~ Hopefully got more unglam ones! =D

Happy New Year!! =)
Counted down with deardear and co. last night at bin's house. Had the annual Aiyah! meeting. Hahaha. It was my first time attending! Lol. Quite funny... And bin has 2 dogs! Cuddles and Reila(? duno how to spell but it's pronounced like that lah haha). Cuddles is super obedient! Hahaha. And we had fun doing tricks with the 2 dogs! Hehe. You know those "Paw" and "Roll!" sort of stuff.. =)
Oh oh i got something to haolian!! =D
*TA-DAH!!!* =)
This is my belated 1st anniversary pressie from deardear!! =D Hehe. It's a cross stitch! WHeeeee! So pretty right! =D And it came late because he is my deardear so he got the same problem as me when it comes to cross stitch! =X Hahaha. We think we can complete it but it's a very huge feat to us actually. So he couldn't finish it on time. This is very very good compared to the TWO UNCOMPLETED cross stitches i have somewhere at home that is meant to be for my mum and mabbie, but was never completed. Hahahahaa!
But still, i'm very happy and touched! =D

Hahahhaa. Yah yah! We went to watch Ponyo yesterday! Lol. Yes! It's the very cute soundtrack advert you keep seeing on tv! Hahaha. It's some jap kind of cartoon like and by director of Spirited Away! =) And it's very very very cute!! Hahhaa. But plot wise, Spirited Away will be much better la haha.

I still can't think of any new year resolutions!! =X Rather, I can't be bothered to sit down and think of any. Hahahaa. Resolutions shall come when they come~
For now, i'll try not to fret about my non-appearing electives! =( =(
