bored bored bored.
i get bored easily online nowadays. seems like nothing much to do. ha.
i can't believe the amount of time i'm gonna hafta spend in front of the laptop next semester. 2 research mods. sadako will crawl out of my computer and BWAH! at me..
haha talking crap.
had a 7-hour ktv session with huiyu ernie today. o_O my throat's getting much better yay! didn't cough much today even after the 7 hours. hee. and ktv was fun with them as usual =) although i was duped into 7 hours! nobody told me until ytd!! O_O hahaha. but i still feel happy spending time with them lovelies. yayy~ =) =)
and i get bored of little nyonya and their stupid storylines. it's super unrealistic. nothing near such is gonna happen in real life, seriously. and she's not just surviving coz of her wit; most of it is just coupled with sheer luck that the scriptwriter is nice enough. oh well. i'm still joining the rest of the boring ppl watching anyway since i have nothing better to do, and i like to watch about the culture! hahaha. i like to watch this type of culture-type of shows leh. their costumes and food all that always look so nice! =X
hahaha that sounded totally bimbo!

all i can say is that the improvement is remarkable enough from last sem. so i shall just be contented! =)
i shall not let ppl grumbling about their B+s depress me. i'm very happy with my B+s! hahaa. and i shall not let comments like "i don't know whether i should take level 400 stats or not coz my level 300 stats did not get A" get to me either. or else i won't be able to take any mods next sem liao o_O
haha. different ppl get contented with different things. when you start low, you have space for improvement and happiness. when you are at the highest already, you have a greater probability to get upset over what the average will be happy about.
yes. that is how i get by being at the bottom of the cohort all my years of studying! -_-''' hahahahaa
okayyyy. what i should do now is pray and make sure it's not the once-a-year phenomenon. you know the sort you always do well for the 1st sem, and completely flop your 2nd sem?

boring boring weekend.
my flu just got worse after i went to the polyclinic. make me so pissed wait 2 hours and tell me rubbish and give me medicine that i already self-prescribed myself with.
so i went to the family doctor today morning and spent freaking 44 bucks, getting heap loads of strong medicine in return! o_O Oh well, but it was worth the spend i suppose. i'm already much better now! =)
i sincerely hope and pray i'll be well enough to go out with darlings yuyu and ernie on monday! =( i've been forced to stay at home today! And after spending 2 days rotting at home, i'm getting really restless!

Wheeeeeeee! Merry Christmas, everybodyyyy!!! =D
Tee hee. I must play my favourite christmas song!! ^^ Hehe. Actually the Mariah Carey version should be nicer ba. But couldn't find the proper MV, so don't want to show that one. Heheh.
Yayyy! Christmas eve was very very nice! Hehe. Went to deardear's friend zai's house for pot luck. Heh. We bot along handmade pizza and jelly. And then there was many other food like Din Tai Fung xiaolongbao, Tori Q, KFC, Salad, Delifrance Logcake, some handmade ham/rockmelon appetizer, ice cream, etc etc.. and don't know what else le. Super a lot of food lah! Eat and play and watch tv and talk until 3am le still haven't finish eating!! Hahahahaaa... *very full look* =D
Oh oh! And we played Taboo! HAHAH. Reminds me of Psych. HP101 and PFO. =P Yay. And deardear and i have been rated the most pro couple!! Wahahaa! We use telepathy to guess the word! Lol. =D And poor zai buy the new set of Taboo with 200 over words and we about finished playing them in one night!! o_O Lol. Quite funny the words.. the box said "contains many true blue singaporean words" and there were really words like Chiam See Tong, Kopi-O, wet market, chicken rice, parking warden, ERP, etc etc... Hahahaa! =D
Oh oh. And zai has a very nice dog Kobe! He was super poor thing, whole night keep tagging along those of us holding food, and his vision literally trails after the food! But he cannot eat leh. Not allowed to anyhow feed him! So poor thing right. Hahaha. And he is very funny! He's scared of the squeaker from the Taboo game. You squeak it at him, he will get startled and run away! Lol. SUper cute!! =D

Righhhhhhhht. Chalet is overrrrrrrrrrrr!! =) It was boring but fun. Haha. Coz we realised Downtown East is a very boring place to hang out at. When I reached home my gorgor asked me "there so boring you can stay 2 nights ar?" Hahahaa. Well, it was fun coz there was deardear with me!! =D Hahaha. Relieves 90% of the boredom! Lalala~
Alright. I was being plain biased. Hahaha.
Anyway, we didn't do much. Used up the free tix to Escape and Wild Wild Wet, watched Ip Mun (very nice!), went to the beach, watched DVD, blahblahblah. Just enjoyed being with each other and seeing each other 24hours a day for erm, 3 days? Heheh.
But then poor deardear fall sick, and was uber xin ku. Became a little feverish on the second night, so we just stayed in and watched tv take medicine. =X Then it became a full blown fever with throat infection by the time he reached home on friday and we took him to the doc on saturday. *pat pat* deardear. So poor thing! =( Thankfully, he's better now le! Can talk louder than ytd! Hahaha. And me, well, i'm still recovering from my flu too =X Hahaha. I tried to sing but zhao sia~ Ooops! Hehe.
Oh well. Anyway, deardear bought stuff like bangle and some giap-hair thingy back from Genting for me! Heheh. I'm so amazed he could even buy something for me back from there! Hahaha. But his family all say quite alot of things to shop there leh~ =O Okay, maybe it's been too long since i've been there. I ought to go when it isn't raining and no competitions and such. So that I can finally go to the theme park! *sulks at the past 2 failed attempt to play at Genting* Hahah.
Oh, and on Wednesday morning, before our chalet, I gave deardear the photo album i made for him for our 1st year anniversary! ^^

Hahaha I was damn excited when I finally finished the cover page coz it took HOURS! Don't see it looks so simple.. the 'anniversary' must tear and glue the crepe paper one by one de! And the rest...well, it suffices to say that one should never underestimate the tediousness of using double-sided tape! Hahhaaa. Anyway, whether you think it's nice or not, deardear and i both love it!! =D Muahaha. He has to say he loves it what. And I was so excited and can't show deardear yet when I finished it, so I went to MMS it to mabbie! Wahahha. Super dumb! =P Oh, and the rest of the album I didn't take photo le.. Hahah. But it was quite thick eventually, like more than 30 pages I think. Heheh.

Went IMH today for xmas celebration with some of the patients there from the psychogeriatric wards! Was a simple thingy, but not bad lah. Just decorated their wards for them and xmas carolled! =) Wheee! I love xmas carolling! Totally reminds me of the choir times! Hehe. I love singing in a choir! =D
Anyway, i'm digressing.
But I wanted to comment that it was my 2nd visit to IMH today already, and I am liking the environment there more and more! Yes, it's actually very nice and half resort-like half neighborhood estate-type. And it's all supposedly part of the plan to lower the stigma people have about 'Woodbridge Hospital'.
Not everybody who goes there are 'mad'. They are just mentally unwell for the moment and need appropriate care from specialists to speed up their recovery and return to our normative society. Besides, some who are there are not even mentally unwell, but other various illnesses.
It's not easy convincing people to stop looking at mentally unwell patients in a different light. When you suffer from a bout of common flu, people generally stay clear so as not to get the flu bug, but they are generally sympathetic, and will ask you to go see a doctor. But when you are mentally unwell, people not only typically steer clear of you, but the shunning increases when you try to go see a doctor about it.
When you can't convince a deeply rooted belief about mentally ill patients being 'siao' and 'untouchable', you change the environment they live in! And that is what I believe IMH is taking the first step towards - de-institutionalizing the place to make it seem less like a gloomy dreary hospital, but a normal place open to all to stroll in and out of any other day! =) Yay! I love the way they try so hard to help all their patients and take care of every minute detail that will put them at unease. At least that was from what I gather, and I hope I am right! =)

A little late, but i'm just back from malaysia! =X
Happy 1 year anniversary, deardear!!! =D

Yay! Thanks for the very very happy past year! I've had some of the happiest times of my life with you walking along beside me! =) And I've stood strong and infallible throughout the difficult times with you by my side as well! =) Yuan lai Deardear jiu shi wo de miracle potion!! =O Hahahaa. Yay! *happy girl!* =) Haha, and last year this time we were happily recounting what happened in the previous 2 months! Lol.
*jumps around happily* Thank you thank you and thank you my lovely Deardear for being so lovely! =) And understanding! =) And caring! =) And nice! =) And just being perfect!! =D The road hasn't always been smooth, but we managed to smoothed it out together anyway, because I have a wonderful boyfriend!! *Hohoho-s loudly* =X Thank you deardear!! Ahaaa. The manics met up for super be-early xmas gift exchange last night! We met up at Marina Square Waraku, and the organiser stephie couldn't come last min! =( *nudge nudge stephie* Poor thing! We missed you! Although you made us feel very kek xim after we finish eating coz we walked out and saw the 50% off on Monday Lady's Night poster! Hahaha.
Yeap. I got this Red Wine Exfoliator Massage thingy from Face Shop from Jia Ying! Yay! It's very cute and literally shaped like a wine cup! Hahaha. I know I'm not supposed to drink alcohol! But put on the face should be ok right!! o_O Hahaha! Anyway, Face Shop has this whole cute alcohol series of exfoliators, I saw when went with deardear's family that day. They have Red Wine, White Wine, even got Sake!! =O Hahahaa. Cool ba! Yay~ So nice! My exfoliator about to finish already! Hahaha. Very useful~ Don't need go buy new one! =p Xie xie baobeiiiiii~ =D
Oh, and I gave Bobo a very very nice organiser from Artbox! Hahaha. It's very nice okayyy. I like it a lot myself! Hahaha.
And other gifts that were exchanged among the others included stuff like lots of nail polish, handmade earrings, scarf(shawl?), body shop stuff, handmade-but-not-made-yet keychain(??),... Hahahah. It was a very funny dinner jiu dui le.
And darling Hh gave very prettily wrapped choccies to everybody! Yay! 我果然没有appoint错 Welfare Head! =P Tee hee.

But quite a bit of imperfections we feel~ Like certain stuff don't have much link, don't know why they put it that way leh. Hahah. But then, again, deardear and I are known to be very harsh and controversial movie critics, i.e. other people think it's nice we think it doesn't even deserve 1 star. *ahem* Hahaha. So, if you want to know if it deserves so many Golden Horse Nominations/Awards, please watch it for yourselves! =) Oh, but I like 1 or 2 of the songs though! Hehee.

Wooooooo! Today feels like a Sunday night!! I almost wanted to say it's the end of the week le. Hahaha.
Been very very busy this week! Spent a whole day with lulu cooking, watching Lilo & Stitch (THEODORE! =D), and many other tv shows. Hahaa. Happy be-early 21st birthday!! =D Hahaha. Party had nice food nice cakeS and very nice door gift from Canele! =O Ahahaa. Very high-end birthday bash for a chalet place. And everybody crowded into the house at 9pm to watch Little Nyonya -_-''' Lol! Anyway, all was nice except the 50min walk from Parkway! @_@ Lol. Bert, aren't you touched we walked for a whole 50 minutes just to sing you a birthday song! Next gathering you foot the bill! =D Lol.
Yeap went for uncle's ROM ytd too, and wedding lunch today. I managed to navigate myself from City Hall MRT to ROM with a sheet of map printed from streetdirectory.com! Lol. So proud of myself! -_-''' Hahaha that was besides the point. The solemnizor(how to spell?) was not solemn at all! Lol. He kept making us laugh lah! =X The lunch was not bad today. Met alot of ex-tutors! Hahaha. Coz a lot of my ex-tutors are my uncle's church friends, and like over 100 people from their(my uncle&wife) church came today. And I was working at the reception, and guess who I spotted in the guest list?!

Wahahaha!!! *stunned* Then he walked out of the lift, and I waved happily at him, and he was so stunned. Lol. Yeap, for those who don't know, that's my JC civics tutor/GP teacher la. Yeap, and managed to catch up with him for awhile, and he's teaching at NUS High School now liao. Haha. Was nice catching up though. =)
Anyway, about the lunch. It was the longest wedding lunch I ever had! As in not the duration, but the amount of food. It was 12-course la! OMG. By like 8th course, we were like all full already. Hahahaa. And then there were my 3 nephews who were busy running around, so our whole table of cousins had to take shifts running around with them =X Lol. And although I came in from the reception (I was there alone for bridegroom's side), and violently protested that I just knocked off, they showed no mercy! Hahaha. So funny. Every wedding, our family will have babies running around and dominating the restaurant stage! =O
Yay. Was uber shagged after coming home. Watched tv and slept and watch tv and read blahblahblah. I have either a busy or boring life. Hahaha.

Long time no see! =)
I was about to say i've been very very busy. Then I realized all i've been doing for the past 2 days are stay home, read my dearly-missed storybooks, drown under naggings and military/empress orders to clear drawers/cupboards/shelves/etc...
Hahaha.
Anyway, i've got my hair rebonded (again~)! And trimmed. And needless to say, I still look boring plain old jane. Ahah. Don't bombard me with why I don't bother to change my hairstyle. Long hair is boring, but short hair is stupid for me, coz it'll turn into a mop into no time, and I don't want to rebond my hair a thousand times a year; it's spoilt enough already! =( So just let me be boring. I don't want to launch into another explanation about why I can't cut bangs... hahah.
Oh well. Subject registration was damn weird. Half of us actually belonged to Year 4s, but we had no idea, and nearly missed our registration time~ Many many thousand thanks to xianxian and bearbear! =)
Oh oh! This week's gonna be packed. Hahaha. I don't mean wipe-more-shelves packed! I meant spending quality time with my deardear!, my electrons!, and my family!(extended). Ahahaa! See, deardear got the day off again tmr! =D and thurs is day out with electrons, added on from last sat's ktv-outing-cum-hx-bday-celebration! hahaa friday is busyyyyy! My uncle's ROM in the afternoon! He's finally getting married, which I just found out the long story behind it today~ Hahahaa. Yay! Then at night, there's the mafan bert's bday party! Why aren't we having any R21 outing before he turns 21?! *upset* Lol -_-''' And then sat is of coz my uncle's wedding lunch! =D
Oh well oh well. Might be busy next week too~ Not gonna update as regularly I guess. I'll be busy watching tv and reading books even if i'm not out. Nyahaha.
On a side note, I'm using my brother's old hp now, coz my dumb hp kept restarting and I had to send it for repair. And I have no idea how to transfer my damn photos coz my dumb lappie has no bluetooth! And I don't have the software for this hp to use the cable! -_-''' So lame~ Have to go and bug my brother liao. Muahahahaaa..
