Holidays? Hmmm..

IT'S RECESS WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!

After the last day of lessons yesterday, today marks the official beginning of our holidays (at least for most of the manics i guess). But BUT BUT... does it feel like a holiday at all?

No no NO!!

And half of us are going off for holidays. To Genting, to Bintan, to Hong Kong... But what are we putting into our luggage? Books and laptops!! O_O

Sadded leh. Hai. I wish I had more time to clear my work and clear my readings! Look at the unearthly hour i'm typing this!! Gotta get my slides done up by afternoon to go for my project meeting! =X And needless to say, after my project meeting, I have tons lot more work to clear up before I go off on Sunday morning~

Sigh. Fairygod mother make all my work disappear!!!

Vulgarism & Evolution

I conclude from J* that vulgarism is an evolutionary concept!

You see, when people are frustrated, they like to rant off vulgarities like F***, CB, LJ, etc... (there may be more, but i'm not familiar! haha)

Why? Because when they are frustrated, they need to remind themselves that whatever they are doing is for the sake of furthering their reproductive success.. so they use such vulgarities as above to remind themselves. Ya, think about it not enough, must verbalize it!

Hahaa. Tsk tsk.

Maybe when the monkeys at the reservoirs does the mating call, it's monkey expletives too! The alpha male that's most vulgar would win the favor of the female monkey! =O

Haha. I feel so amazed by my own analysis~ I ought to have done this for my Graduation Project! Woooot!!

The Horrible Moment of Truth

Ok, I'm lagging abit I know, but anyway, just found out about this US game show from Qiqi yesterday.. it's called The Moment of Truth.

I tried to watch the episode she talked about, and it's reaaaaaaaaaaaal freaky. I don't know how the family managed to stay so calm!! x_x

Basically, the contestant is connected to a lie detector, and they have to answer some yes-no questions about their life. Then the questions will get increasingly harder/personal as the reward money increases (think something like millionaire). BUT, if the lie detector detects that the answer you give is false, you go home penniless despite what safety level you have reached earlier on. But they give you the option of stopping the game (before they ask you the next question) if you feel uncomfortable la .

And so this lady got asked stuff like:
+ Have you ever taken off your wedding ring to pretend that you're not married? -- YES.
+ Do you believe that you were still in love with your ex-boyfriend on your wedding day? -- YES.

And then her ex-boyfriend comes out personally to ask:
+ If I ask you to come back to me now, would you leave your husband? -- not answered (the family members have one chance to choose not to let her answer if they think they don't want to hear an answer)
+ Do you think you would have been better off marrying me? -- YES.

Host continues asking:
+ Since you got married, have you ever had sexual relations with any other guys other than your husband? -- YES.
+ Do you think you are a good person? -- YES.

At this point, the lie detector detected that YES was a false answer. So she lost all the 100k she was supposed to have won -_-'''

Omg la! What a show!! She answered all these questions in front of her husband and all her family members leh! I wonder how they remain so calm la, still can ask her continue answering the questions!! o_O

*faints* This is what you call, the ugly side of human.

May this show never come to Singapore!! Haha, actually I don't think it will =X
