The Horrible Moment of Truth

Ok, I'm lagging abit I know, but anyway, just found out about this US game show from Qiqi yesterday.. it's called The Moment of Truth.

I tried to watch the episode she talked about, and it's reaaaaaaaaaaaal freaky. I don't know how the family managed to stay so calm!! x_x

Basically, the contestant is connected to a lie detector, and they have to answer some yes-no questions about their life. Then the questions will get increasingly harder/personal as the reward money increases (think something like millionaire). BUT, if the lie detector detects that the answer you give is false, you go home penniless despite what safety level you have reached earlier on. But they give you the option of stopping the game (before they ask you the next question) if you feel uncomfortable la .

And so this lady got asked stuff like:
+ Have you ever taken off your wedding ring to pretend that you're not married? -- YES.
+ Do you believe that you were still in love with your ex-boyfriend on your wedding day? -- YES.

And then her ex-boyfriend comes out personally to ask:
+ If I ask you to come back to me now, would you leave your husband? -- not answered (the family members have one chance to choose not to let her answer if they think they don't want to hear an answer)
+ Do you think you would have been better off marrying me? -- YES.

Host continues asking:
+ Since you got married, have you ever had sexual relations with any other guys other than your husband? -- YES.
+ Do you think you are a good person? -- YES.

At this point, the lie detector detected that YES was a false answer. So she lost all the 100k she was supposed to have won -_-'''

Omg la! What a show!! She answered all these questions in front of her husband and all her family members leh! I wonder how they remain so calm la, still can ask her continue answering the questions!! o_O

*faints* This is what you call, the ugly side of human.

May this show never come to Singapore!! Haha, actually I don't think it will =X
