im getting fat i swear. haha i've been meeting deardear for 6 consecutive days this week, and he brings me out to eat almost every day! wahaha

tues - pei deardear to bank in the morning, then had lunch tog, and he went back to school for makeup lecture (monday vesak), to find that the lt there stick a notice saying makeup lec changed to fri -_-''' then he went for the lecture as usual on wed, to find that the makeup lec on tues actually went on in another lt, and the note there was for another mod's lecture -_-''' *pengz*

wed - deardear pei me to blah in the morning then we went back to sch for my RA and his lec.

thur - full day out. noon to laminate stuff, after TEPANYAKI lunch, went for movie. after that went for ASTONS (western food) for dinner. after walking ard abit more, went to CHEESECAKE CAFE (cheesecake, duh) for supper.

fri - gym in the morning. went to EXPO FOOD FARE after tt and ate alot! hahaa. then we saw adidas sale and went crazy. robinsons sale was boring though. ahaa.

sat - met deardear after his work. went to bugis to bai bai, then walked ard. ended up walking ard suntec stonily, still feeling lethargic from the gym. then after sitting ard and stoning ard more, we ended up hopping onto a bus to BEDOK BLK 85 MARKET! =D wahahhaa dinner is shown as above..had such a feast! yay! but i think bedok south was still nicer.. ahaa. 85 abit standard drop liao. hehe.

sun - deardear drove! =D went to ikea for brunch - MEATBALLS! ahaa. then went back to his hall to help him pack his stuff to move out. then we searched for food hungrily at 4+, and decided to go old chang kee. then we were searching for the appropriate car park to park at. and when we finally went through so much hardship with the packing, transporting goods, and parking, and so excitedly anticipating old chang kee, we reached there to find it CLOSED. !E@$#&!@ haha so we ended up with MAC again. haiii.

seeeee! after much bi gong, deardear confessed that he's stuffing me up, so that i grow fat and nobody else wants me! -gives sorrowful look- lol~

anyways, i know deardear has been trying very hard to keep me company for the whole week, and take my mind off the worrisome stuff. and thanks so much for being there everytime i need someone to talk to, and pushing away so much of your stuff just to spend time with me! honestly, i didn't know you were turning down so much stuff! sorryyy!! =X but i really appreciate and am very very touched by all you've done for me =) yeap, i'll be strong and fight on! i know i'll win with deardear's support!! =))

yeap. tmr is finally coming. i won't say i'm not scared, but at least i'm keeping a positive outlook. guess that's the best thing i can do now =] and i know i've done a great job being strong so far, so it'll continue this way til the end!! =) and thanks to all who've been understanding and cheering me on! really helps alot =)

oh and i was watching the charity show for the earthquake just now. it's really very sad, and you just can't help feeling shaken by all the images they show and the true encounters they relate. it's really a heartwarming and touching charity show, given such a limited amount of time they have to come up with it. everyone truly puts in their best and help in whatever way they can, whether if it's just singing or picking up phone calls. and there were no dangerous stunts for once, and no beautiful costumes whatsoever, but true simplicity and the sincerity to help just shines through.

and i think the survivors of the earthquake are the truly brave ones, having to live through all that ordeal, and continue with their lives when so many loved ones are already gone. and their willingness to help the others look for their missing kins really touched me. i really can't imagine surviving all that mess and still feeling traumatised, having to dig through all that rubble to help others look for their loved ones. i think i wun have the strength to carry on...

and the mother who died to protect her baby...i salute her!

bwah. ok i shall stop all that emo talk.. i just wanted to say, all the best to the survivors, and thanks to all the frontline rescue team who helped so bravely, and everyone who tried to help in whatever way they can. and goodbye to all who have to leave us just like that, we all hope you'll be fine up in heaven.
and good riddance to bad rubbish to the liao ning girl.

hahaha! today was an awfully get fat day!! :D

deardear and i were prepared for a full day out, with catching Accuracy of Death and laminating my RA stuff in mind. so my dear deardear planned a very yummyful day ahead!! =D

first, he came to wsands to pei me laminate my stuff. but turns out there was no lamination here, so we ended up at tampines again. -_-''' haha and the plan was alrdy very yummy for the night, so we were bent on something simple for lunch. but in the end, we still couldn't resist the temptation, and succumbed to the Tepanyaki Express @ TM!! wahahaha.. so happY! so long nv eat liao.. lol.

then we walked around abit, and headed down to Kallang Leisure Park. heh. was there once before before this, also with deardear and his friends. so we found out that there was a new cinema opened there, so we decided to go check it out (http://www.filmgarde.com.sg/index.aspx). anyways, it's not bad, very huge leg space and seats quite comfy too. haha we paid extra $3 to try the couple seat, which was really niceeee. hahaa but we shouldn't have bothered coz there was hardly anybody ard, and we could have just bought the normal tix, and went to sit the couple seat. lol. yeap, i really wouldn't mind going there more often if it were more accessible. -sigh- oh haha and we walked past the new mrt stn (circle line) there! and guess what they named the mrt station there??! - Stadium.

haha okays, anyways, we watched Accuracy of Death, as planned, mainly coz of my obsession with Jin Cheng Wu!! lol. no la, actually we really thought the plot looked quite interesting.. it was about jin cheng wu as a shinigami, who would talk to the ppl that were 'arranged' to die, before judging whether it's the appropriate time to let them die alrdy not.. i think it was really quite nice.. not action-packed or what, but the ppl in the story are all linked in a neat way, and it's in a way, thought-invoking i guess. oh wells~ i think jin cheng wu really aged liao!!! heh but i still like him (: oh ya! got a dog in the story damn cute with a very dry sense of humour!! wahahaha..

ok, anyway, we continued heading down to Katong's Astons Specialities!! it's really better than expected! heh. it's this western food restaurant, that forever has a queue.. haha we went at ard 6.30pm, then waited for abt 20min before getting a seat, and it's wasn't even the peak period yet!! hahaha. but nwae, the wait for the food was relatively fast..less than 10min! =) oh and guys, you'all should really go try! it's very good, and really very cheap..

Chargrill Chicken with 2 side dishes - pasta salad and baked potato! ($5.90 only! and it's both our fave of the day! hee)

Hickory BBQ Chicken with 2 side dishes - onion rings and french fries! (also $5.90 only! the fries are really good!! somehow we both think it tastes best eaten without any sauce.. haha. oh btw each main dish like that comes with 2 side dishes that you can choose from a variety..)

IBC Rootbeer! (forgot-how-much. haha we ordered 2 bottles and realised 1 is actually enough.. yeap. nice too~ not too sweet like the normal rootbeer =])

yeap so total we spent $18.70, which i think it's really very affordable for such high standard western food! heh. and quite filling too! and plus plus plus point is that there were no extra taxes at all!! =))

then we walked around somemore, and waited to digest the food, before going for more food!! hahahaa.

the next stop was The Cheesecake Cafe! it's also somewhere along East Coast Road, near Siglap Centre.. and it's fantastic!! haha though we only shared one slice of cake and a drink coz we were too full from the Astons. lol. but i think the ambience was really good for just a small cafe!! the price should be slightly more ex than starbucks and blah, so it's really quite worth it too.. =)

Chocolate Cheesecake! =) really very very goooood! love it man! ^^ it's really melt-ish cheesecake!! heh.

Mocha. pretty normal ba.. haha. prefer starbucks.. =)

total bill was about $14+ i think. yea yeap. got 10% service charge~ aha. but i really love the ambience there. very goood! =)) it's open late afternoon to midnight i think. very nice for gatherings i think. can chill there for long. =)

anyways, was out with my family ytd. daddy wanted to go to singapore flyer in the morning. but then mummy had heights.. haha so i pei-ed her walk ard city hall while my dad and bro went up to the ferris wheel. haha but the problem was there weren't many shops open at 10.30am in city hall -_-''' haha so nwae, they finished the ride at abt 11, and we cabbed down from suntec to meet them for $3.00 (haha fyi, starting fare was $2.80 -.-'') ok then we ate...POPEYES!! ta-dah!! ^^ oh the popeyes there is much much much bigger than the one at airport! hahaha. at least 4 or 5 times bigger i think. yay. i still think popeyes rocks! haha if you westies haven't tried it before, coz it was cooped up at changi airport for too long, pls go try it!! it's real GOOD. it's what made me stop eating kfc...hahahaa. i mean, i've eaten kfc for less than 10 times ever since i started eating popeyes at...sec 4? j1(4 yrs ago!)? hahaha.

anyways, i kind of like the place over there. as in there aren't many shops except restaurants and souvenir shops, so we didn't really walk ard there. but i like the feeling you get there, when you're standing outside all the shops and blah. coz it's reclaimed land over there, and they can't really build high-rise buildings there yet, so all the buildings there are kind of like 1 or 2 storeys tall only. so it's actually quite vast and i felt so good, just standing in the middle of town, and getting to see the nice blue skies and fluffy white clouds like so near me for once. =) yeap, i guess i'm either cooped up around high-rise buildings for too long, or i'm slightly demented; but i really had to urge to stop there, in my midway of heading to the toilet, and just admire the skies. haha!

oh comments from my dad and bro was that there wasn't really much nice stuff to see from up there. hahaa. not that nothing to see, just that doesn't look that nice to them. oh wells~ i duno. i kind of always have the feeling that ferris wheels look nicer from the outside than from the inside. hahaa. maybe coz i haven't been in a country that has a nice enough view to complement the ferris wheel before. -nehh- haha. but still, i want to go take the singapore flyer one day with deardear! yay! =))

oh, and the cabbie who drove us there told us that if you want to book one whole cabin to hold a party of sth inside, it'll cost you $8888. woo! hahaa~

okay, moving on. ytd was kind of a Explore Singapore day for us~ hahaa. coz after that we went....

haha it's this series of bridges and trails and blahblahblahs that stretches on and on from harbourfront to mt faber to telok blangah hill park to alexandra to hort park to kent ridge park for 9+km. ahaaa~ anyways, we only walked the bit from alexandra (near ex-SAJC!! ^^) to hbf mrt, and it took us 1.5 hours! hahaa. and it was just plain stupid to go at NOON. hahaha. i definitely don't mind returning there again, coz it's great and i think it'd be nice to walk with friends too who wouldn't hurry me to finish it up -_-''' oh but in the morning pls! or evening, if we're gonna catch the pretty lights! hahaa.

anyway, we started just after the alexandra arch, which is basically start from the Forest Walk. (pls refer to the webbie above as you read!) it's really this long long longggggggg and winding metal bridge. and if you're and ex-sajc student or work somewhere near there, i think you'd have at some point, stood somewhere near those foresty patches, and wondered what will happen if you drop down into those -where's-the-bottom- forests, and if anybody ever goes into them.. haha. well, the metal bridge is basically built above those endless patches of forests. and it doesn't seem that scary anymore actually.. haha. the slopes of the bridges are built so gentle and nicely that you'd conquer it easily without realising you've covered so much depth! haha. but it was a long walk, nevertheless.

next was telok blangah hill park there (owtenos/fitness ppl! is that the first 'mountain' we went up for 24hrs camp??!).. there was the Hilltop Walk, but what i really loveeeeeeee is the Henderson Wave man!! it's actually walking inside that huge wave you see in the picture above! ^^ hahaha so coool rite. it's all wood! and the way they make the bridge is like, part of the bridge is also the benches!! haha so ppl just basically sit there and laze very comfortably, and many families gather there to sit around and chat all that. heh heh. and it's very easy to walk! not tedious at all!! (:

then we went on to mt faber! yay! felt so high up.. hahaha. could see quite a bit of stuff. heh. Faber Walk was okay i suppose. the breeze there was definitely cooler, and the land was also somehow nicer to walk on too. hahaa..

last was the trail leadinf from mt faber to harbourfront. i swear that was the scariest of all to me!!! hahaha. Marang Trail wasn't as scary as i made it up to be, of coz. but the problem was, it's basically kind of a trail like those you walk through in macritchie reservoir. but the problem for me was...it's all STEPS winding down and down and down! plus all the sand and little stones around! yes, if you know huiting, the situation i described above is what i had a rich experience and high susceptibility of spraining my leg and flying off from bicycles in. hahaa so i was quite terrified, and walked so slowwwwwly and careeeeefully, and gripped every staircase railing i could find. even my mummy walks faster than me!! =XX hahaa but i really have quite a phobia after falling down and flying the un-heroes way too many times under such circumstances. and i have a secret love for staircases going UP instead of DOWN, coz i fall down more often on my way down. -_-''' so the trail goes down and down and down, and when we're finally at hbf, i was so relieved and happy and proud of myself for not falling down!! wahahhaa ^^

anyways, i definitely am going back one day to complete the wholeeeeee trail of bridges this time, and go to Hort Park too!! really quite disappointed they didn't go to Hort Park! hmmmm.

deardear and i watched made of honour ytd! ^^ i thought it was really nice! haha. duno why seeing them getting married made me tear! =X nwaes, the girl's really, really pretty; not the typical type most would find pretty at first sight, but maybe it's her eyes or sth, you find her real alluring after awhile, and most importantly, nai kan! n the guy's shuai too!! ^^ aha. nwaes, the story's cute too. can tell they're really very chummy all that right from the start! ahaa. yay! i love the ending!! hahaa.

oh, and deardear had nothing on at night anymore, so we could spend the whole day together! yay!! and amazingly, we rotted close to two hours away just drinking coffee, reading papers, and talking nonsense! =D

yay! and we went to the market at bedok south for dinner! haha. so happy!! i love going there! and it seems to be the first time deardear and i goes to those market-ish place and order a feast and ate together! hahaha. and we ate salmon!! i can't believe i'm turning into a salmon freak after sun with moon. but it's ok, my eyes still light up more brightly when you tell me about my deardear, than when you tell me about salmon. =(

and thanks to her dear fluorescent tube for donating his hse to let us work in today! wahaha. and dear xianxian walked into his lift saying "wah! how come your lift still got play music de!!?" then many moments later she realised it's her own hp ringing -_-''''''''' *pengz* i laugh until i want to die. hahahaa.

yay! i love darling xianxian!! so glad you're the one working with me through these hard times! hehe.

and yes, like what xianxian said, we're starting out the project from scratch. so happy. monster q is really a nice monster! :) heh when we went for interview, she offered us 3 projects to work on. then 1 data collection almost done le, and 2 more not started yet. then ask us which 1 we interested in. so i told her i preferred to start one from scratch, and be involved in everything. yeap, so she kindly let us take the project into our hands, and really do everything. haha i know we both grumble alot, but we're really learning alot too =)

Part Three - The Chiong Day!

Saturday was the most chiong day i've had for very very long (excluding chiong-ing project and report deadlines haha)!

first i went down to The Cathay at about 1115 to collect something from my aunt who works there.. then met yuyu deardear at 12 @ PS to shop for yeababe's pressie!! ^^ haha we were uber efficient!! we completed it in i think one hour or less, including the wrapping! lol. it was very very nice lingerie! =p wahahahah~ yeap. so we lingered around until it was time to go meet jess & co. at je! =))

oh and deardear sms-ed me excitedly at 12+ to tell me he received the puzzle liao =P

ok then what happened was that i was supposed to go attend jun's bday party.. but after confirm liao then deardear told me he's holding his party on the same day and at the same time!! -_-''' and so The Female Host cannot be absent plus must reach early. so i had to forego jun's party =( so feeling very bad, i managed to drag an army of 5 other ppl (the other dans + ernie) down to bukit batok early with me to pay jun a visit before rushing down to deardear's hse at tampines. ehh but they were all uber late late late!~ and we ended up reaching jun's hse at uhhh..4? 4+? can't rmb le.. i planned to leave before 4.30 de! but then by the time we finish crapping ard, helping out with the deco, and taking many many photos it was close to 5 when i got into the cab liao. hahaa.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAODAN!! =) so sorry i couldn't stay for the party! haha pls wear what we bought for you, it's so prettay! :p nwae, i'm glad your party all went well that day, and i know you had lots of fun! yay! i love you! let's meet up again soon one fine day! =))

haha ok back to the grand plans for escape to tampines. so i boarded the cab unaware of the extra charges after 5 -_-''' and coz i was rushing to reach before 6+, and had to collect the cake first. and there were TWO traffic accidents on the way, and i got stuck in TWO freaking traffic jams!! -_-''' suay can~ saturday also kenna traffic jam! haha. then got to tampines even worse! the cabbie from the west de, duno where's the street i wanna go!! and unsurprisingly, i also duno -_-''' and if you know tampines, you'll know it's this huge and unfriendly place to get lost in. so we went round and round looking for emicakes, and finally Comfort picked up his call and saved the damsels in distress~ (according to the cabbie, they are the only cab company with a call centre to provide their cabbies directions when they're lost! :O) ahaa. nwae, after i finally collected the cake, and reached his hse.. the cab fare with the extra charge had exceeded $blahblahblah. omg!! so scary~ i think can let me eat cai fan everyday for one week!! lol. but i eating mummy's cai fan everyday liao so nvm~ ya no link. ok let's continue.. hahaaa

oh and damei called while i was on the way to their hse after collecting the cake! then she so nice say got car liao, can go fetch me coz they going buy sth. but i alrdy on the way in cab liao so told them duneed lor. ok then i reach deardear's hse and he was hidden in his rm, so i crept into the kitchen straightaway and hid it in the fridge. then went to his room to admire the jigsaw and tell him the long story behind the puzzle while the guests started filing in one by one =)

yeap. so basically for the rest of the night the both of us were busy but happy running in and out of the house (they put a short little table on a mat outside the huge space outside their hse and his friends took turns eating in batches haha it's really nice actually ^^) making chicken wings, nuggets, and refilling the food for the steamboat-bbq ^^ finally our turn to eat at 9+!! hahaa so tired so didn't eat much but was really happy. yay~ and deardear has very nice and funny friends (well he's nice and funny himself haha tong liu he wu~). oh and he got very nice presents that obviously i dun have photos of.

and we finally surprised the bday boy and girl with the cake at 10+pm. hahaha. yay! so pretty and so funny! all his friends boycott him and told him they were his sis's friends! lol. damn gao xiao.. then become nobody came for his party, all his sis friends =D oh and his aunty and uncle bought another mango cake!! =O so we ate two cakes~ lol.

yeap so deardear finally fetched me and some of his stay-at-pasir-ris friends home at abt 1115, and that was the end of the chionging day!! =))

HPPY PARTY DAY, DEARDEAR!! =)) yay! it's both our first time having/being co-host during a party! so happy ^^ hehe. i love my deardear! yay!! more co-hosted parties in the years to come!! *grins!*

Part Two - The Cake, The Card, and The Labour Day!

okay i shall attempt not to be lazy and continue! aha~

ok, so i was thinking of getting a cake for the bf's party on saturday.. so i surfed for cakes and settled on Emicake's Chocolate Imperial!
yummy yummy! deardear's fave milk chocolate! ^^

yeap, so i msg-ed xiaomei on the sunday afternoon before to ask her whether they alrdy getting a cake or not in case end up with 2 cakes. oh and shun bian get their full address from them for the puzzle delivery! and after tuo tuo la la very long, i finally thanked their mum for sponsoring the membership card, and the two lovely sisters for sharing the price of the cake! yay! nice ppl!! =) then damei msg-ed me on monday after she heard abt the cake, and said that xiaomei also celebrating her bday early on that day then she suggested sharing the cake b/w just the two of us. yay! so the pretty pretty cake got both their names! wheee! =D but i didn't take photos on saturday so they are all with deardear n family/friends. so yeap..
[yea realise the cake ordering frenzy happened concurrently with the puzzle design frenzy. so i was quite blur and high on sunday hahaa]

ok then i was all the while planning to make a card for deardear too, to give him on thursday, his actual bday day. then i was quite disappointed that couldn't put the matchmaker photo into the puzzle, so i decided to make a card with photos too! then can put the matchmakers' photos inside!! wahaha. yeap so after packing up in hall on wednesday after the last paper and waiting for my gorgor to fetch me, then reaching home at 11+ for dinner, bathing and chatting with deardear...i finally started making the card past 2am! o_o yeap, it turned out to be really nice! just basically looks like a booklet then got our photos make up a very funny story abt us! hehe. but i didn't take any photos coz it was like 4am liao so i plonked into my bed. hahaa then i showed deardear i got sth inside my bag for him when i met him the next morning! wahaha then i was like "haiya. nvm la. end of the day then give you la. you got no bag to carry anyway!" haha then i was given the OI! treatment. so just give him lor. yay! so nice!! but of coz like me, he forgot to take photos. lol.

yay! then we went to bugis, coz initially i wanted to get stuff from bras basah. but after we ate at the market there, and walked all the way back to bugis junction, we were too uber hot. so i postponed the bras basah trip to another day, which means we went to bugis for nothing! lol. but got deardear with me so nothing is wasted!! ^^

then we headed to vivo to watch Forbidden Kingdom! which i think the story line was great, but like ernie said, the sun wukong and yu wang da di conversed in english! -_-''' so it was a bit weird.. ahah coz they even talk chinese philosophy in english! *pengz* hahaa.. and we oggled at the girl together! yay! -_-''' lol.

DINNER!! i tell you.. i source for nice restaurant for i think more than a wk ok! obviously i zoomed in on japanese food straight away coz of the bf's strange love for salmon, salmon, and salmon. his eyes shine brighter when julyn talk to him about salmon, then talk to him about me!! =((( haha~ ok back to the point.. initially i was thinking of Kuishinbo or Sushi Tei or Ichiban Boshi, coz everybody said they were nice! but then i thought of bobo and her Sun With Moon craze~ haha so i decided to check out food blogs and reviews! seeee i got do homework de!! ^^ yeap so uhh i shall not talk so much abt what the bloggers have to talk about other restaurants.. but in the end i decided on Sun With Moon, coz they said it served the most quality and authentic japanese food! omg. that was like the best choice i made for that day!! -drools-

Red Breeze! it's actually cranberry juice + watermelon (the pulp!) + lime + mint leaves!
ok i know it looks like tomato juice with seeds and leaves..but it's really very very gooood! it's very thirst quenching for one thing, and it's slightly sour but well masked by the sweetness of the watermelon, then got the cooling minty feeling! wooohooooo! fusion leh~ drink liao can fly! hahaa..

salmon sashimi!! ok this is the thing that convinced me that salmon can be good.
haha! if you know me well, you'll know after i tried some horrible tasting raw fish when i was young, i nv touched raw fish again until i met a love-salmon-more-than-love-gf-de-bf, and gorged down lots of salmon while trying to make sushi for vday! so obviously it's the bf's bday and he's the boss, so i insisted that he must order salmon sashimi and that i would eat with him. haha so when the salmon came, i stared hard trying not to show my hesitance at the big fat slices of raw fish surrounded by ice and lemon. so i just grabbed a slice and dipped it into the soy sauce, shoved it into my mouth, determined to get over with it. and then.....i melted. ahhhhhhhh!! it's SO GOOD LAH. haha can really tell it's premium quality! and even the soy sauce is extraordinarily nice! omg. hahaa i know the soy sauce part sounds silly, but really!! ^^ yay so i fall in love with certain types of salmon after that day. yay! =p

Rainbow Roll! which is basically sushi with uhh mango and i-forgot-what! haha.
but it's like the nicest sushi i've ever tasted!! you know how when you eat sushi, the rice usually just serve to pei the ingredients.. but this sushi is made in such a way that the rice fuses with the ingredients, and you taste everything as one..so if you remove the rice, it wouldn't taste as nice anymore!!! this is like my fav for the night!! hahaaa.. really good! -melts all over again- ^^

Agadeshi Tofu!! it's the classic japanese fried tofu..
but again, it's the best i've ever tasted! ahhhhhhhhh!!! ^^ how come they can even manage to find premium quality when it comes to tofu!! ahahahaa!~ im so impressed! lol.

I-Forgot-What's-Your-Name! hahaa. it's basically scallops and golden mushrooms wrapped in beef..
ok basically from this dish onwards we finally rmb-ed to take photo before eating!! (didn't you realise the last few photos were all half-eaten?) hahaa. and i feel most ke xi about this dish coz deardear and i were giap-ing it for each other. and i dipped his with alot of the yellow-looking sauce and dunk it onto his plate. but he didn't notice the yellow sauce and giap liao straightaway put on my plate. then i protested violently, and he quickly dipped LOTS of yellow sauce for me before dumping on my plate. *itadakimas!* first bite of the scallop was omg! bite again.....WASABI!!!!!! omg. -faints- i almost vommited and downed lots and lots and lots of water. sadly, the rest of the beef-wrapped scallop had to be finished by deardear =( so i only get to eat the beef-wrapped mushrooms, which was really good too, just that i think the scallop was nicer(minus the wasabi!) =[

ok so actually, the food was all made of premium quality ingredients, quality over quantity. in other words, the serving was very small. hahaa. quotes deardear "wah really very nice leh. i feel like im some gourmet, tasting all the different nice food instead of filling up my tummy" hahaa. so we ordered more to fill up our tummies. and coz the first experience with sushi was good, we decided on more sushi before dessert! ^^

California Roll! ta-dah! the classic must-have sushi!! ^^
it's really as great as the Rainbow Roll!! ahhh got the fusion feeling all over again!! ^^ i really loveeeeee their sushi!! remind me to MUST EAT the sushi if i ever go there again! ^^

Tofu Cheesecake! the boyfriend and i fancies cheesecake! so we ordered this dessert. and it actually came, covered up with a bird cage! wahaha so funny. i wanted to take photo, but the waitress took it up once she settled down the plate. ahhh~ nwae....
IT'S REALLY GOOD!!!!!! it totally melts in your mouth!! -drools- once again, you know i'm going to say the cheese is of premium quality!! wahaha. yeap. tts one of my fav of the day too! ^^

Dessert Box. it's 4 assorted desserts inside that changes randomly daily.
this was the only thing that went wrong during dinner. -_-''' the chocolate icecream tasted like normal neighbourhood icecream, the mango roll didn't taste like mango, the matcha cake had green tea powder sprinkled all above it which tasted *shivers*, and the fruits is just..well, fruits. and obviously $10 is way overpriced. -thumbs very very down- haha~

yeap so after the uber overly satisfied dinner, we walked ard clarke quay(again. haha we always end up strolling along clarke quay! =p).. then asked this friendly vietnamnese to take our first photo of the day! ahaaa..

and on the way home, i decided one photo wasn't enough...





this photo is funny.. coz i look so overly enthu posing, and he looked so overly bored. hahaha! my stupid deardear! always do such thing to me!! -sticks out tongue-

haha i bet you guys have all been waiting for this entry for AGES! =p ok not all photos are in alrdy, but i guess it shld be sufficient to illustrate liao. ahaa.

ok, firstly, i must start from very very long before you were all born about 1 month ago when the idea surfaced of making a puzzle. here and there, there were deviations from the plan, but due to unforseen circumstances, one fine day 2 weeks before, i decided to stick to the jigsaw puzzle plan. so i approached qiqi who had made something similar for her baobei before. then she gave me the web and i started to 'work' on the puzzle design. but due to a silly deardear who promised me ages ago to gimme the Photoshop software and teach me how to use during hols (yes, im dumb. and yes, he is slow, now still haven't got it.. haha), i started frm scratch with our PINK AND PURPLE background done with....Microsoft Powerpoint -_-'''



and then the disaster surfaced when i tried to put my photos into the ppt slide..

like hello! where's my pretty pink and purple bg gone to! -_-''' and i haven't even added in the words!! =XX

so i figured out i shouldn't let a gone case like me spoil a pretty puzzle, i decided to engage help. and the website stated they would provide free designing and wouldn't start on the puzzle until the customer is satisfied on the design. so i happily and naively trusted them, and engaged their help.

the photo originally missing was the photo of me pouting. and if you haven't noticed the photos in huge rectangles are supposed to be our faces, and those in the little ovals are supposed to be 'inanimate objects'. so i thought she must have thought i looked like an inanimate object.

i decided i could take no more of the nonsense as i had less than a week left now. so i sought the help of my pro pro designer friend Taliya! =) apparently it was the wisest choice i've ever made, apart from the part about not having made such a decision one week earlier.



see the stunning difference? professional jiu shi bu yi yang ok. she still explained to me that too many photos liao cannot add all in or else will compromise the composition balance blahblahblah. and she sent me the complete workpiece in high resolution 5+mb! but i can't post .pdf file here so...

anyway, it left me floating immensely high up in heaven as i proceeded to email the stupid assistant manager, then head down to deardear's room.

if you're wondering why im being so weird about the payment, that's bcoz the bf is with me most of the time im in hall. so the only time i can go out to transfer money was when i have a paper, and he wouldn't be with me then. and it was stated in the web that they wouldn't start work until they received the money. so i didn't want to drag anymore coz it was already Sunday night, and my next papers were on Monday and Wednesday.

in any case, after the email was sent out on Sunday night, i went to study in deardear's room and only returned at 2+am, when i happily continued to oggle at the new design. then i realised....uh oh! the matchmakers' face not inside!!! AHHHHHHHHH! then i started panicking coz very late le. then i sms Tal and emailed her, but she didn't see it until she woke up in the morning liao. and by then it was Monday again and she had to return to work which means OTs until 12/1am. so obviously i couldn't trouble her anymore. so i just had to went ahead with the design...

and i waited and waited and waited for the Assistant Manager to reply my email. and by 10am, i was squirming worriedly. so i called her, and she didn't pick up my call. then i sms-ed her my concern about the fund transfer. and she finally replied my sms at 11+am:
Hi, you may pass me the money personally when we meet up for you to collect your puzzle on Wednesday.

i was like so uberly horrified by the thought that she haven't finished my puzzle or sth coz The Boyfriend's bday was like the next day and i was planning to pull a i-have-no-presents-for-you, then the present will arrive at his house on Friday, then Saturday will be his bday party..so that'll be 3 happy days in a row for him! so i was apparently in a very bad mood and when i sent the .pdf file i just demanded "I want my puzzle delivered on time by Friday"

then i waited and transferred the money to her after my evo paper (around 4pm). then i sms-ed her again to tell her i had transferred my money and that i wanted my puzzle delivered by Friday. and she replied Have you sent me the JPEG file? -faints- yes, i sent it to you in the morning alrdy. i want my puzzle delivered on time by friday, as promised. I don't think it will reach by Friday. But you promised me that it will be completed on Tuesday, and you only need 2 working days to send it out. I want my puzzle delivered by Friday. But you kept changing the designs. I can only finish the puzzle earliest by tmr and send it out, but it won't arrive on time coz Thu is public holiday. if you want to get it earlier on fri or sat morning you can collect it from me personally. or you can gimme your appartment address instead of having it sent to your office. sorry abt that. Hi i just finished the puzzle and sent it out. it'll reach earliest by Saturday morning coz tmr is a public holiday.

alarmingly, i responded by breaking down and cry. yea so i cried within 3 hours after my last paper ended. cool right. i was just so damn pissed with the stupid girl. not even my fault that the puzzle couldn't reach on time!! and i feel so upset that after spending so much time on it, it couldn't turn out the way i planned. bwah. i guess im a real sucker for wanting things to turn out the exact way i planned. you cld say im inflexible i guess. but i was just plain pissed off and disappointed by the present not being able to reach on time.

nwae, deardear ended up receiving his puzzle on saturday noon. and yay! he loves it!! ^^ his xiaomei described it as "ta hen hao xiao leh. just take the nail and kok kok kok into the wall straightaway!" hahahaa his xiaomei/my deardear is so funny! nwae i didn't get to take a proper photo except for this..
