I'm not exactly a fan of her, neither do I deny having laughed at the joke when I first saw it, but....
Don't you think we should just cut her some slack?
As the clichéd goes, "All humans err". And as Ting (2009) goes "Pageant queens are humans too". If any other Tom, Dick or Harry had said BOOMZ on national tv, would you have laughed at it for months? No, people will just "HAHA. DOTS!!", and move on with their lives. Albeit falling short of expectations of a beauty queen, it's over, and... TIME TO MOVE ON, no??
For goodness sake! All that criticism about her, and then you turn around and make a joke out of her! Does that make you a better person than what you've criticised her about?
Why don't YOU go infront of national tv as well, and see for yourself what smartass sentences you can come up with without even stuttering!
