you know the time of the semester is back again when you start seeing sad or angry or bored or even weirdly cited blog entries around. or even more simply, when you no longer see new blog entries.

and you know you are in deep shit when you are 11 days away from your first paper, and you blatantly ignore the note "stop procrastinating" below your countdown.

and you know you are in deeper shit when you are less than one-third through your revisions, with more and more assignments and new teachings coming in, with your project deadline drawing so near that you conveniently spend 12 hours of your day working on it.
