yay. spent half my day reading Jodi Picoult's Perfect Match. it's a great book, like all other Jodi Picoult books! but i haven't been reading a lot this hols like i used to. don't know.. as i grow older, the urge to read seems to keep diminishing unless i settle down with a really good book! heh. i'm becoming more BIMBO =( maybe it's coz read too much stuff during school term le ba, so i've become a little repulsive of reading anything now. pathetic lil' excuses to justify myself. hah.

anyways, i'm getting a lil' excited about this movie they're filming now about another of Jodi Picoult's book - My Sister's Keeper! it's the first Jodi Picoult book i read and what made me fell in love with her writing! hahaha. and it's really fantastic! ask ANYBODY who has read it, and they'll tell you the same thing =)

lalala~

oh FINALLY went shopping with mummy ytd! hahaa. if i haven't told you about her story, it goes that she was on leave for about a week, and keep asking me to go out with her.. then i pushed away all my programs to go out with her one day after another, for a total of THREE days, but she pushed it back time and again, either coz it was raining or she wanted to do spring cleaning. *Sigh* can u imagine mab even wished me "i sincerely hope you get to go out with your mum tmr" -_-'''

and dear attributed it to this story:
there was this barber cutting hair for his customers in his shop. then he always tell his customers about how there was actually stupid enough to choose the $1 coin if offered a $10 note and a $1 coin. the customers didn't believe.. so he called this boy who was perpetually loitering outside his shop to come in. then the barber offered the boy a $10 note and a $1 coin and asked which one he wanted. to the customers' amazement, he indeed picked the $1 coin and left the shop. and so the barber always demonstrated this to all his customers. and one day, after a customer left the shop, he happened to see the 'stupid' boy. so he asked the boy "why do you always pick the $1 coin? don't you know the $10 note is larger in value?" and the boy answered "yes. but if i picked the note, the game would have ended after one time."

haha get it? so he says i'm the barber and mummy is the 'stupid' boy. HAI. *shakes head*

haha but ytd we FINALLY shopped! and it was alright la. she's funny to shop with as usual~ and a lil' exasperating towards the end when she starts to fast forward. hai. i'm so pulling mabbie back to bugis st again another day! hahaa~

and i suddenly feel so busy with gatherings and what not for the rest of the hols.

and my mum has been nagging me ceaselessly about the amount of food i've been eating this hols, the amount of weight i've been putting on, and my untimely slp patterns/amt of slp. yes, its time to resume the daily situps again.. HAI. when my mind wanders randomly, i sometimes wonder if xianxian will nag her child like that too next time. hah!

ok i know my entry was totally random.. but i've been rotting my day away. bwah! okay, i shall be off to continue reading my book! heh heh. tchao!
