yet another hectic weekend went past just like that. there was study, work, play. pretty nicely balanced if you ask me. just that i happen to be perpetually uncontented with the amount of play time i have. why can't play-time be an polynomial expression of (work- + study-time)^10? hahahaa. that way, we can all play 10hours for every 1hour of hard work we put in! yea, dream on. =)

my maths tutor mentioned today that there was a German mathematician who became famous for the many researches and studies he did on infinity (as in the 8 rotated 90degrees you always see in maths..). but he eventually died coz he literally went crazy examining infinity.

ahhhh.. maybe we'll all become crazy one day analyzing Freudian and neo-Freudian theories too.

went for wsc interview. i think i'm crazy. if i don't ever get my hall i'm gonna die of fatigue instead of insanity. oh wells. that is if i don't drown in my murky sea of scandals first.

it's barely past week 4 and my blog is showing symptoms of abnormality already.

yayy~ looked for my darling fishsee jiejie ytd during our 1hr-break to celebrate her bdae/my lunar bdae together! lols. supposed to have lunch at quad but as usual it was invaded with dragons. so we ended up with macs again @ ny audi. lols.



yeayeapp. then had dinner with my family at nite to celebrate gorgor and my bdae together! was FAB! hehee. i love bedok food..rocks!! :) no photos though, as usual. lol. happy happy! =)

and the suck started today morning.. summary as follows:
- got caught by the POLICE for jaywalking, which was just something i've been doing for the past 15yrs.
- tuition got cancelled last min.. duno good or bad.
- attended a totally STUPID tutorial by a retarded tutor, whom if you can't guess who by now, you must be mad.
- thought would be busy helping julyn with her voting stuff, so didn't bring anything to study. then stayed back for so long to vote for jaron, and ended up not going to vote. so totally pissed!! urrrrgh.
- as if i wasn't pissed enough, i got nagged for the umpteenth time over the same stupid thing after reaching home. YUCKS!

okay. so i managed to master xian's auto-stabiliser technique somehow, and managed to calm myself down after reaching home. =)

and after the past 2 weeks of maladaptive coping with the sudden turn of events/workload in school, i realise that it really helps to take negative things with a pinch of salt. i guess most of you will be feeling the same sucky way as i do, what with all the school work and stuff snowballing and everything just doesn't go your way or just ain't quite what you expected. then the many little irritants get to you and you start feeling pissed. but hey! don't let the little irritants get to you! - they're not worth the time and effort to brood over. spend the time trying to calm down, relax, and solve the biggies first! :)

and.. sometimes whether something is an irritant or turns out to score in your life is just a matter or perception. event A may happen to two ppl.. but one may view it negatively and lament over it endlessly, while the other may just see it as a speck of dust, flick it off, and carry on with life as-per-normal. it may seem excruciating at the moment of time when that irritant triggers..but the more you get irritated and angry over it, the more it gets to you and the unhappier you get eventually. on a lighter note, if you just brush it off after calming yourself down, things will start looking brighter and you'll realise it wasn't really that unsolvable a problem to begin with! =)

okayyy. so say until so easy right? haha. i'm still learning myself la. not very easy.. but it's starting to work abit! lalala~ wei, i'm not blogging this to convince myself k.. haha i'm trying to convince all the tensed up ppl to relax abit and cheer up!! :) and ya.. to those whom i've been grouchy at..SORRY! =X hehee. will try not to be such a major grouch again!

today was a happy day!! :))

started out tired though. then saac was chaos.. ALL the kids threw tantrums today!
2teachers + 2volunteers + 6kids throwing tantrum = uh oh.
they cried.they screamed.they refused to budge. my darling R even had to be brought to another separate room to be calmed down.. so scary. first time they ALL have down day together! o_o hehee. but towards the end it became better and everyone was in a much better mood after that! hehee.

and everyday, during the start and end of class, they will have this 10-15min thingy called 'Circle Time'. then the teachers will gather everyone and go through with them the day/date/weather of the day and blah..ask how's everyone feeling and go thru' the class rules and their individual rules and all that. it seems quite boring and repetitive, but it really means alot in their schedule la..

so anyway, xian and i had to conduct the end-of-the-day Circle Time today! ahahaas. so scary! first time lor! coz always see the teachers conduct like very xin ku. hafta keep looking excited and happy, then the kids sometimes(actually, most of the time..) will bo hiu you one.. hahaa. but anyway, with the help of the teachers, it wasn't tt bad la. i think the 5 fat sausages rhyme was pretty cute! hehee (:

then at nite we celebrated hq and jul's bdaes at ichiban!! woohoooooo! so coooool!! the meal was great, cheesecake was greater, company was greatest. (: smelt awful too.. felt as though i just walked out of can 2 after that. -_-'''

bwah! friday was nice~ we gave huiqi her belated bdae pres! wahaha~ damn funny.. i handed it to her, then she thought is I yi ge ren give her two presents de. wahahahaa! :p yayyyy~ the cookie was pretty! and so nice to eat! ^^ and i think P knows me now..coz i broke out into sudden outburst of laughter during his lec =X -blush blush- bbbbwah!

alrites. i'm officially terrified of crowds. from the mrt to the interchange to school to library to canteen to corridors...it's all filled with PEOPLE. i'm so sick of seeing crowds that i had the urge to zap all of them and *POOF!* no more~ and i BET they are dying to do the same to me. which is fine with me as long as i come back after a day's retreat.

and i had my first taste of a 6hr break today. i think 2hrs was spent queueing and trying to squeeze through crowds and all that stuff. -rolls eyes-

maths tut was nicer than i expected. made new friends! :) -phew!- will die if i hafta go into recluse for 1 whole sem. hahaa. and the teacher was funny..and he always link all the maths theory and eqns to interesting history of some mathematician.. wahahaa so funny. and he pronounced pythagoras as pee-ter-girl-rous. that took me quite some time to figure it out.. hahahaaa. and i went in like 15min late thanks to the horrendous 179 queue.. and later my fren told me he was asking before i came in whether the whole class are chem majors..coz if not chem major means walked into the wrong class le -.-'' hahahaaa. but i checked my registered subjects and it's CORRECT lor!! owells~ he'll be in shock one fine day! -nyahahaa-

and 204 tut was better that expected despite not being taken by the lecturer. no, MM, we didn't get MM either :p hahahaa. and yeap. was super excited when i stepped into the class and saw so many familiar faces! (:

and we're back camping at LWN once again. except this time it's only the 2nd week of the sem and the library is filled up as if it's 2weeks before exams. omg. wth is the whole sch's prob. can students not flood up the whole place? it's damn iritating. i'm gonna get terrified of ppl if this goes on for the rest of the sem. and they actually had a party(buffet) @ the library!! o_o i have no idea for what... like i said, the only reason i can think of is - they're trying to encourage us to bring food in. -_-''' blah.

cca fair was supposed to be fun. but i was too annoyed by the crowds to bother looking at whatever's there.

179 is ultimate. the queue went right up to the opposite end of the interchange.... and i was still telling jaron on the train "don't worry la. the bus keep coming, and the queue will keep moving, so in 5min, we'll be up on the bus liao la". then i reached the interchange and got so stunned and ended up boarding the bus like 15min later.

friday kind of flew past in a cute frenzy.

met early for lunch,and then our first cog psy lec. was way beyond my imagination. i tot P would perk things up, but the lec mode,content&tone went hand-in-hand with the boring black-and-white-and-imageless tb. to make things worse, what i dreaded most became an established truth - Mr R's taking me for 2 tuts this sem. the moment P announced that, i had a burning impulse to walk up to him, snatch his mike, and bang my head with it.

nday eve was funny..

i woke up to kit chan's voice blasting over the speakers of the sch downstairs.
then i went to sch and the sms network got screwed up again.
and i attended a lecture with an interesting-turned-super long-winded-and-boring lecturer.
then i got stuck in the bookshop queue for an hour, talking about eskimos,igloos,and wives with jy and two other guys whom i dun even know.
and i lugged three super thick and expensive tbs to IMM to meet jun,pork&baba.
then we got quite amused eating in Ajisen.
and of coz it was nice catching up with them (:
then jun,pork&i continued lugging my 3-layered plastic bags worth of books to town.
and we sat in lido drinking one cup of bubble tea and gossiping for very long. and of coz we had fun and laughter and lotsa love :)

so much so for dans outing being reduced to 3dans+1bah. [geddit? 3 eggs and 1 meat. okay maybe pork is a meat too..that makes 2eggs+2meat -.-] owells~ hope we ALL get to meet next time..

nday was cool..

i woke up to mum's zao an ni hao blasting.
then i ate and bathed and stoned.
and finally got my butt out of the house to go for tuition.
then i actually managed to navigate myself with a sheet of the map and found the ulu place!
and tuition was quite a breeze compared to all that hassles i had handling pri sch kids..
then i teleported to town to meet mummy and some other relatives, including darling yuxuan! :p
and the total headcount was 5adults+2children+1noisy toddler. =)
then we ate at la mian xiao long bao! which prob wasn't up to standard today coz of the super long queue..
and we shopped at robinsons after that with the sometimes-squealing-happy-toddler and sometimes-bawling-and-screaming-same-toddler. hahahaa. was quite a sight, the big group of us, i must say (=
then we ate hagen dazz (how to spell? haha).
and the toddler became sleepy after abt 7hours..
so we finally started to head home!

yay! had funnnnn~ only regret was not coming back in time to watch ndp.. hahaa.


back to sch again tmr. zzz. haven't done the readings required. bbbwah!

went to SAAC as usual ytd morning, before lessons. the lift door opened and the national flag glared rudely at us, or rather, at the mess of kids running around and screaming excitedly/in terror ahead of us. and so we joined in their rehearse for national day celeb.. was great (: i think i was more excited than the kids. hahaa. u hafta understand it was the first time in a few years i get to celebrate national day like that. and it wasn't even anything near the human trains we used to form at chungcheng :)) and for the first time in god-knows-how-long, i sang the national anthem!! omg. wahahaha~

okay, sidetrack abit. the sch downstairs having fire drill. and all the kids are screaming -.-''' hahahahaaa.

haha i dreamt a weird dream last nite. can't rmb the exact details..but it was something to do with a guy whom i didn't get to see the face. but nwae, we had a great time and all that (really can't rmb wad we did..but prob the normal stuff ppl do when they're dating), and i woke up smiling.

wad a way to start the sem. haha like some new romance or sth. -_-''' ahahaas i'm queen of digressing. wad i wanted to say was.. i rmb-ed when i was much younger, like sec 1 or 2, i had a similar dream about meeting a guy and being really happy playing with him. except that time i remembered the exact details; well, minus his face. i always dream and wake up forgetting faces. -_-''' haha nwae, i think we went cycling, and i was riding behind his bike, and he was doing all those cool bike stunts. then i was so happy and everything felt so right and so perfect that i cried, and i literally woke up with the pillow wet (with tears, not drool.). and after that day, i kept waiting for such a guy to appear; to sweep me off with the cool bike stunts and the everything-feels-right feeling. and before sec3 i think i gave up. i realised it was all a dream and it wasn't gonna come true. it was silly-ly depressing for awhile, indeed.

then i grew to realise that dreams never tally with reality. they are called dreams because of their dream-like quality that makes ppl forsake reality to accept them; yes, we forsake reality in search of hope. but after awhile, we see that Pandora released all vices, keeping only hope in her box, but not making it easily available either. we have to work hard before we get hope too; we can't easily find it in our dreams.

and so i worked hard. and i thought i really found love. but no matter how hard i worked, love just wasn't here to stay. it slipped away while i was hard at work, and not keeping an eye on it. so hurt and mistrust got their PR and came to stay.

but at some time, they got tired too and went for a holiday. love and wariness came to take over. it didn't get better for long. happiness came and went too. hurt came back from its vacation, fully charged, bringing despair along this time. this time, they converted to citizenship.

have been flipping thru' multiple books concurrently these few days. books include AMaths TB, My Sister's Keeper, etc.. hahahaa. yes, amaths tb. it's been a long time since i touched that stuff, so i decided to refresh my memory abit before i go to my tutee's hse and stare at her qns for hours. ahahas. good thing i did coz everything seemed so alien O_O

oh friday was a blast! (: my little miss bobo is on dean's list! woohooooo! so proud of her!! ^^ she shall be promoted to Mugger of Maniclub! wahahahaaa~ how unflattering -.-'' haha no la.. i think she should be Creative Director alongside the carrot cake. so they can perpetually dissent each other, and we also duneed to QC their products liao! wahahahaa~ i'm such a smart pres! -smug look- ^^

okay i digressed alot. hahaa. nwae, friday's POD was quite a success.. (: and we're in deep shit coz our juniors are super damn smart! -sigh- so much so for the darned dragon babies! first they steal my hall, then they usurp my honours! >=( wahahhaa~ owells! but they look generally friendly la.. some of the girls look abit bimbo though.. and the guys.....well, it suffices to say it's a wonder how the HSS pageant king is amongst the tiny group of 14. hurhurhur. :p

haha and poor mabbie dearie went to Eng filled with hope of marrying Mr. Elvin Ng. but to her utmost dismay, found out from me that her darling graduated from NUS alrdy. hahahaaa. that was very sad indeed~ ;p

oh oh. and met ernie ytd, and did the GOT (Great Orchard Tour, ha). walk until almost peng san before stupid bert trekked over from chinatown to dbg to taka, happily eating donuts all the way, then meeting the poor tired and hungry sotong and ernie for dinner at 9pm. thanks hor, bf..we almost died!! O_O hahahahaa~ yayyy~ but it was refreshing meeting bert&ernie! wahahaha.. nice nice niceeee! (:

FINALLY went back to the gym after weeks!! ^^ ahahaas. getting back on the treadmill feels good, apart from having the giant red-white-yellow toadstool constantly shaking infront of me. haha~ and i realise i have tunnel vision while on treadmill. heh. anyway, today's workout feels great :) i hope we get to swim soon before sch starts! :p

everyone seems to be busy doing some thing or another. and i'm busy slacking and going out everyday. bbbwah. ytd walked past this event for the SPD, and the emcee was saying "some of this ppl may be physically disabled but they lead more meaningful lifes than some of us" now i feel like one of the 'some of us'. say want to look for job say so long never find. say want to look for tuition say so long also never find. just keep coming up with excuses not to work. so shallow~ and by the time i want to work, i don't even have a month left. sheeeesh. that was how i wasted my hols away. so great huh? some useless bum i am. rawr. this is so not gonna happen again in dec/next yr. -hooks an imaginary pinkie-

i suddenly miss volunteering at SAAC! and the outings.. and everyone there.. :( and reading stephie's blog made me envious of her ponies! hahaa~ looks so fun..

and huiting is not that strong a girl as she thought she is i realise. at least for a few days each month, she'll start crumbling. haha if you get what i mean. and when the people i love starts crumbling too, things don't look too positive. and some ppl think huiting has good temper. but huiting only has good temper when she loves the ppl around her. you may call it unconditional love! when i don't make noise, it doesn't mean i like or agree with what the people i love are saying or doing. i just choose to disregard the uncomfort and tell myself i love my friends and family for who and what they are. since they were already like that when i start loving them, i should just accept them for who they are and shut up. so the only time huiting goes mad is the time of the month, when she decides she can't shut up anymore. and then she becomes the unreasonable one. yea, i'm not saying i'm justified in being unreasonable. i'm just saying unreasonable ppl shouldn't be brushed off so nonchalently. and after trying so hard to be understanding and cheering you up when you were unhappy, i get brushed off just like that as unreasonable. at least i don't add on to other's misery.

and they all looked so pint-sized. but they have boundless energy chasing each other all around and fighting and laughing crazily. and it takes AGES to get them to gather. one runs off, and you chase after him/her, he/she comes back, another already ran off liao. and the cycle continues forever and ever. and the only thing that got them to obey us was when our 'boss' threatened to send them back to their home (children's home) if they continue misbehaving. wah! quite can ren leh~ =X and from wad they told me, they apparently find it quite boring there. coz all they ever do is eat sleep study tv. =X so saddddd~ and though got hear them keep talking about their parents and siblings, didn't really dare to ask about them also. hmmmmm.

and they get amused by very funny stuff, that it made us laughed like hell.

there was this guy (one of our volunteers) who was wearing a singlet and leading them to do stretching exercises before a morning jog.. then he raised his arm to stretch, and.....

went to the 爱琴海民歌餐厅 @ MS! was fantasticccccccccccccccc!!! (:

always walking past it since ages ago, but didn't step in before until ytd nite. was simply.....GREAT!!! :) the singers are super gooooood! and we didn't feel like eating so just ordered drinks and sat there to listen for like 2 hours..and it was so so so SO GOOOOOOOOOD!!! heh.. and the concoctions were fantastic too!! hehee.. and i think i'm in love with the pianist....she plays SO WELL. omggggggggggggg. haha okayyy and the rest of them sings FANTASTICALLY. wooooooooohoooooooooooooooo!! *thumbs up!*

ppl pls try going there one day! it's highly recommended!! hahahaa~ it's not cheap la.. but not that ex either.. hahaa. they charge by per head entry, and each entry gets a drink..then if you want any other food then pay extra accordingly lor. but considering the entertainment they provide, i think it's good value for money! =)

but but BUT.. pls don't go there alone after you just fall out of love.. i think you'll walk out of the place crying non-stop.. hahahahaaaa. if you don't understand, go yourself and you'll get wad i mean. hahahaaa

just finished watching this jap serial, Anego! courtesy of Beavan Chua Gun Gun, who introduced it to me! hahaaa~

it's really really nice. and the feeling of watching jap serials again is like...WHOO!! ^^ there used to be a period of time (in my sec sch days i think), when i was in love with jap serials. haha. and someone told me before it's coz jap serials usually have happy endings, so many ppl love to watch them - as a means of escaping from reality, coz u'll never have such happy endings in real life. how true! but apparently i'm the only one still stuck in fairyland, coz everyone else watches KOREAN serials now. hahahaaa. they got reality-struck - yes, everything in life ends with either terminal illness or death. HAHAHA. okay, i sound so mean. yet don't you think it's quite true? hmmmmm!

yeap. watching Anego isn't totally airy-fairy or brainless or just to make myself happy by escaping from reality. it got me thinking instead. it's just so so SO true, everything they show.

- all about guys wanting to play and not wanting to get married
- guys, regardless of age, nationality, religion, race, etc... all want to play with and bed as many girls as possible.
- yes, even married men.
- when 2 have an affair, the guy gets away scott-free, and the woman gets called slutty, shameless and has to take the blame of breaking up others' marriage.
- men can keep putting off marriage to play their youth away..they are said to age with grace(ah! devt psych!) anyway; women, on the hand, lose their charm once they hit 30..they have no time and are not allowed by the society to play..and if they don't get married before 40, they expire.

yayyyyy! went for SAAC outing todayy! met the kids @ ECP for sandcastle-building!!! =D hahahaa. all i can say is.. it was SUPER FUN!!!!...and super hard work! hahahaaa~ kua zhang can.. i have never imagined sandcastles to be THIS hard work! and guess wad? if you think we were building silly-looking crumbling sandcastles, you are wrong.









check those out. it's ALL built by us and the kids okayyy! zai ba? hurhurhur-. i was super impressed by outselves too! wahahhaa~ i tell you, nowadays sandcastle-building is so complicated!! hahahaa~ they actually have so high-tech tools! like, 10yrs back we were using pails and scoops. now they got nifty cute little tools that work the pathetic lump of sand into magnificent structures! awesome, isn't it? for awhile, all of us volunteers were transformed into kids and stood there awestruck too as they explained to us how to use the tools! hahahaa~

and guess what else? if you go at the correct timing during wkends, they actually have this Castle Beach open, which is a shop that sells those wicked equipment (at a wicked price of $38..) and they even have sandcastle-building workshops! now, isn't that awesome?! =O hahahaa~ i was seriously so wow-ed by everything today! ^^





look at that! it's those pro ppl built de.. those working there de i think.. and i heard it's already been there for MORE THAN A YEAR. O_O i wonder how it even braved the stormy winds and rains. hahaha~ prob they sprayed something on it to preserved them ba.. hahaa. but very nice ba? esp. the first one! still can see the sea view! -.-''' hahaha okay, i know that's not the point, but as i was uploading the photos i just realised i took the sea view along with it. hahahaa~

and then, when the kids came, we had uber fun with them as well! hehee~ BUT.. they were more like destructing wad we built. hahahaa~ so funny.. no la.. they did help la. just that they gt so excited seeing those nice magnificent structures that they couldn't resist stepping/kicking them. . . . . . hahahaaa! super cute~

and then there were the other families staying at the chalet, who bought their kids to the beach to play too.. and they all stopped to look at our sandcastles!! ^^ hahaa and apparently they were as awed as ourselves. lols.. so niceeeeee~

and one of the boys were so cute.. he goes around calling all of us "chairchair!chairchair!" (translation = jiejie). hahahahaa~ then he would just pull us and point at something, but we don't really understands what he wants either. hahaa. but he's just so cute. xianxian, you know him too! from Hebron~ hahahaa. so adorable~ and he's the "here-i-come-watch-out-i'm-gonna-destroy-yur-sandcastles" boy. then we had 2 sandcastles construction-in-progress at the same time. then we keep sabo-ing each other, tell him the other team's sandcastle nicer...coz he apparently gets excited by pretty sandcastles (so excited that he destroys them after finish clapping~). hahahahaa. all i could say is.. today was ABSOLUTELY FUN!!! (: xianxiannnnn~ pls get well fast and come back on thurs!! i missed u! heheee..

ooh and the volunteers were cool too :) hahahaa.. had fun working with them and eating together all that after that.. kinda sad when xl mentioned that after all of this wk's outings, we wun be seeing so much of each other anymore. hmmms! coz splitted into our individual groups liao ma.. and some of us different days also le.. hmmmm. ): but nvm, hopefully we get to see each other around in the centre! :) hehee.. nv imagined everything to work out so nicely.. i'm really enjoying myself and learning alot now! happy happyyyy~ ^^

am finally back from malaysia.

yes, was there for some non-play reason. if you know, you know. if you duno, you don't have to know. hahaha~

albeit the wadever reason i was there (for one day only), the break did worked a little charm on me! (: feeling better than when i set off. though i must admit i virtually rotted over there.. hahaha~

and i have lots to sayy.. though not exactly regarding the trip. but yea.. hahahhaa~

firstly, we met on friday nite @ vivo to compile and prepare my darling bobo's bdae pressie! ^^ hahahaa she shld be grateful lor. we find the box find until wanna die. cldn't find any PURPLE box! lols~ then we so ke lian sit at the rooftop there eating hotdog and fries and making your pressie. and still sit there until kena CHECK IC BY POLICEMEN!! hahahahaaa~ first time in my entire life i kena checked by policeman lor! LOLS. and poor julyn even almost got her name taken down lor!! wahahaha~ but the end-product was pretty i must say! especially with the sorry attempt by 4 poor little girls to make the roses! lols..(sorry, no photos with me now! get from jul!) hahaa~ and i'm glad you love your pressies! (: and i'm still sorry i can't attend ur party! so much wanted to join in the fun :( nvm nvm~ nxt time! hehee. HAPPY 21ST MY BELOVED YAMMIE!!! ^^ join the scandalous club!
